Also includes correspondence with Anne O'Donnell relating to MR's decision not to name her as press officer, a decision which AO'D did not take well, and which MR explained was due to MR's "already high profile in the abortion information area", 20-22/07/1990; faxed text of speech by Dick Spring TD, Leader of Labour Party, in Tralee, 14/09/1990 and faxed transcript extract of interview given by another candidate, Brian Lenihan referring to phone calls made by him and Taoiseach Charlie Haughey to the then President, 25/01/1990; letter from Larry O'Toole to Arthur Murphy, Mailbag programme, RTÉ relating to RTÉ's application of Section 31 censorship laws which saw earlier interviews with him, August 1990, as Chairperson of the Gateaux workers' Strike Committee, blocked from airing due to his membership of Sinn Féin 30/10/1990.
