Photocopy of statement issued by the Irish Republican Publicity Bureau. The statement which was issued on behalf of the bureau by J. McGarrity announces 'the termination of the Campaign of Resistance to British Occupation launched on December 12 1956.' The statement is addressed 'To the people of Ireland' and includes a 'Roll of Honour' listing volunteers who died during the campaign. Some text missing from the left side of the first page.
