Multiple transcripts of a 1922 letter from 75-year-old Peter J. Dowling in Louisville, Kentucky to his cousin Thomas Corcoran in Castleknock, Dublin, plus correspondence between Kerby A. Miller and letter donor Catherine Cullen. Per Kerby Miller: 'Donor writes that her mother's family has lived in this parish since the Church started keeping records, in 1769. The Peter Dowling who wrote this letter was a son of Bridget Corcoran, who married Dowling. Her father, Peter, was born in 1777 and was the son of a Thomas Corcoran.'
