Paper written by Father Hayes suggesting that local temperance societies place members on Muintir na Tíre parish guilds and councils to help steward morality. He writes that 'action in the parish that will remove the cause of intemperance will be much more affective[sic] than condemnation.' He also condemns the commercialisation/professionalisation of recreational sports and advocates for 'clean, healthy and decent amusements' and an increase in temperance lecture to youth.
