Material in this sub-series relates to the Commission on the Restoration of the Irish Language and includes reports, articles, essays, minutes, correspondence and cuttings. It spans the period 1940s to the 1980s, although it also includes some photocopies from slightly earlier in the 1920s. Some of this material seems to have been used for research purposes and includes notes [by Donncha Ó Súilleabháin?] possibly dating from the 1980s. Without altering what arrangement was perceived to exist, the material is filed in chronological order where possible.
