Scope and content

Kerby A. Miller's typed transcript of one letter and brief abstracts for two more letters sent to or from members of the Lewis family, including Norman Lewis in Gowanstown, Ontario, between 1929 and 1930. Per Miller: 'Lewis was a farm laborer from Belfast, who emigrated to Canada in about 1929, when he was 18 years old. The letters (T.1776) are written to him or to his mother in Belfast, by other emigrants... ...These Mss. were donated by Lewis himself, when living in Belfast much later, so obviously he did not stay in Canada.'
