The Nancy Leslie letter was originally collected by Arnold Schrier, a collaborator of Kerby A. Miller's, and was written by Nancy Leslie to her niece, Anny, in 1867. Kerby A. Miller notes that neither the location in America, from which the letter was sent, nor the location in Ireland where it was received are known as yet. Both Miller and Schrier's transcripts of the letter are included, along with a photocopy of the original.
