Letters from Canon Hayes pertaining to the establishment of Muintir na Tíre in South Vietnam. Includes:
-Letter to Father Gian stating that the church has asked Muintir na Tíre to start operations in South Vietnam and forwarding a message of appreciation to South Vietnamese president Ngô Đình Diệm on behalf of Muintir na Tíre (8 September 1956, 1p);
-Letter to Father Joseph Phong enclosing the above letter, plus a letter from 'the Cardinal' (not attached) (29 September 1956, 1p);
-Letter to Father Gian noting that Muintir na Tíre has now been established in England as the Parish Guild Movement, that he has not heard back from President Diệm (see P134/12/1/1/11/10), and that Father de Jaegher ('one of the best authorities on Communism') is now in Saigon and he is sure de Jaegher will help start Muintir na Tíre there (15 December 1956, 1p)
