Scope and content

Correspondence received from people living in the North of Ireland regarding the establishment of Muintir na Tíre. The majority of the correspondence is from G.B. Newe (1907-1982), editor of the Ulster Farmer from 1931 to 1967. Newe would go on to be a frequent correspondent of Father Hayes and would become the first Catholic to be appointed a minister in the government of Northern Ireland.
