File of letters and one telegram between Sig. Weil, Herbert P Winslow, and M M O'Shaughnessy concerning Windy Camp and Balaklala Mines. In a letter dated 22 Apr 1897, Weil writes to O'Shaughnessy requesting a sketch of what mines may be on a section of proposed railroad, as he has been served with a summons to "show cause why R R Co cannot get a land patent". A letter from H P Winslow dated 9 Nov 1897 refers to "the Balaklala matter". The final letter in the file is from H P Winslow written to M M O'Shaughnessy, and reports on his visit to Curtis' mine.
