Handwritten letter to unspecified recipient from Albert [Chireu], accompanying a report (not included in archive). The writer does not have confidence in the positive tone of the report with regard to its mining potential. (26 [Mar] 1897).

File of letters to M M O'Shaughnessy from C B Taylor on the subject of an opportunity with a 'Texas Mine'. The letters refer to Taylor's work with potential investors in the mine, referred to as the Boston Syndicate. They follow up on points discussed in a previous meeting between Taylor and O'Shaughnessy, including a dedicated report on the mine, and the prospect of O'Shaughnessy obtaining a 40 day option on the mine in Texas. Later in the correspondence, an arrangement with Mr Hart is referred to, and O'Shaughnessy is asked to report on an unspecified property and house. (1-29 Apr 1897).

A handwritten draft of a letter from M M O'Shaughnessy to Mr Taylor marked 'Strictly Confidential'. Notes he has met Mr Hart and another associate and they have considered Taylor's proposed purchasing of the Texas Consolidated Mine, Shasta County (Incorporated). Outlines Mr Hart's terms for a sale. (Undated).
