Lloyd is writing a paper, and wishes to be consistent in the language of his placenames, so he seeks verification on the correct English spellings of Cathair, Mhaol and Bheag. Tim encloses a copy of the revised 1999 map for Liam to mark the places he mentioned in their conversation.
