Two index cards relating to the townland of Ard, [An Aird]. A note on two islands within the townland, Illaunnagapple (Oileán na gCapall), and Inishgaunnaunmore (Inis gceannain mór).

Correspondence between Michael Moore, Archaeologist within the Department of Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht, later changing to Dúchas, and Tim Robinson. The first letter encloses a photocopy of the identification lists in the Recorded Monuments Register for the Burren (RMR), and explains the background of the RMR as arising from the 1994 National Monuments Act. Copy reply from Robinson encloses a list of the megalithic tombs and other monuments that he wishes to add to his revised Burren map, with a list of queries for Moore.
