Index card describing some of the local features of the townland of Bovroughaun, [Both Bhrocháin]. Loch Aill Mhaintáin is included in some of the descriptions of the area.
Correspondence between Enda Mooney of Burren National Park, and Robinson. Begins with a copy letter from Robinson enclosing his 1977 map with National Park Boundaries marked in red ink, asking Mooney to highlight in yellow any areas he has excluded, and seeking clarification on lands owned by An Taisce. A reply from Mooney encloses the map with the requested areas highlighted, and a photocopy of a map of the national park. The letter includes information on An Taisce, a trackway and two additional cairns and wedge tombs. A subsequent note from Mooney encloses a copy map of Keelhilla nature reserve. Letter from Joe Duffy, District Manager of Coillte to Robinson enclosing maps outlining all Coillte owned forestry in North East Clare. (13 Mar 1998) 8pp.
Bound volume containing copies of letters written by Mr. S.J. Barrett, Meelick House, Kilmore, County Roscommon to various correspondents, primarily to the Secretaries of the Gaelic Union and the Society for the Preservation of the Irish Language. In a letter to R.J. O Mulrenin, Honorary Secretary of the Gaelic Union, with reference to the two societies, he states "Now is strikes me that if the two societies were united it would be better for the cause which you have so much to heart" (10 June 1885). He also gets involved with various disputes with newspapers, complaining to the Editor of the "Shamrock" that in his article on Mr. J.J. McSweeney no mention was made of the work of the Gaelic Union (4 Apr 1889). In a letter published in the "Leitrim Observer" he lauds the cause of the Irish language: "I trust it will never be said of us that we yielded to the Welsh, who have brought their language from the former state of obscurity to a position which it now occupies" (2 Aug 1890) [Formerly LSB59].

Set of index cards describing physical features in Both Íseal, [Boheeshal]. A note to say the townland is not a Gaeltacht speaking area. Included are information about Loch Coirill, Cloch Coirill, and Criathrach Coirill. One card deals with translations of the townland name. Also mentioned are Loch Pholl an Mhaide Giúse, Cloch Leathbhealaigh, and the Figure Eight (two lochs joined by a few yards of stream). Several hillocks are also described, Tulach Pheadair, Tulach Poirín, Tulach Glas, Liagan Mór/Beag, and Tulach Srutháinín. There is also a Loch Tulach Srutháinín, which appears as Loughaunemlagh on the OS maps. Loch an Fhraoigh, which appears as Lough Duff on the OS maps. Finally Clogher, and Loch an Clogher.
