              Correspondence between Brendan Dunford and Tim Robinson beginning with a letter from Dunford inviting Robinson to the upcoming launch of burrenbeo, a new information and education initiative. Ensuing correspondence discusses the relationship between the farming community and the environmentalist cause, specifically access, burning of gorse, grazing levels, and public liability concerns that have forced some farmers to put 'no trespassing' signs on their land. (9 May - 9 Jul 2003) 9pp;

              The rest of the folder contains Robinson's membership card for Burren Beo Trust, promotional postcards, an interactive CD-ROM entitled 'Images of the fertile rock', the trust's annual magazine Burren Insight, (2010-2012).

              File 1 includes: Letter from Margaret Barber of Probe International to Bruce Milan, Manager Commission of European Communities re. proposed works at the Mullaghmore site (6 June 1991); Press release, summary document of key points of the Burren National Park Support Association, a counter group, who represent local people in the Mullaghmore area who fully support the proposed development (1991); Handwritten notes and letters by Lelia Doolan by B.A.G. to fellow group members planning and outlining upcoming campaign events and communications (1991-1992); Text copy of report "Proposed Burren National Park Visitor Centre - Re. OPW Review and Response to Submissions Made on the RPS EIS of February 1992 and Titled 'Environmental Impact Assessment", submitted by B.A.G (14 Aug 1992); Handwritten draft letter by Lelia Doolan to "Dear Commissioners...." Included are descriptions of Fuaigh na gColm (a smuggler's cave with a natural rock bridge across it), Inis siúl (Inishule on the OS), a note on the Blake family of Bunowen, Carraig Úna (and the tale of a member of the Conneely family who blinded the last surviving O'Flaherty, An Bioránach, then married his daughter), Doon Hill, a note on the Geoghegans, Baile Uí Chonaola, Crois (the South-Western point of Inishule), Loch an Dúin, Carraig Andrew (named after Andrew Conneely who came from the Aran Islands in 1830), Ballindoon Church, Cnoc an Dúin, Whisker's Lake, the site of Bunowen Castle of the O'Flaherties, Brandy Bridge, Cé All na Borradh.
