              Correspondence between Tim Robinson and Seán Ó Nualláin of the Archaeological branch of the Ordnance Survey. Begins with a handwritten draft of a letter Robinson sent to The Director of the OS about incorrect co-ordinates for Ballycasheen, Leana and Commons North recorded in 'The Survey of Megalithic Tombs Vol 1'. A reply from Ó Nualláin, and subsequent correspondence between the two parties about sites being destroyed by bulldozing of scrub. (27 May 1976-12 Jun 1977) 9pp;

              File of correspondence between Tim Robinson and Fr Ryan, Parish Priest at Sixmilebridge. Robinson is enquiring about about a number of earthworks around Lisdoonvarna that he believes to be barrows rather than forts, a subject Fr Ryan recently gave a paper on. Fr Ryan responds arranging to meet Robinson on the Aran Islands. In a subsequent letter, Fr Ryan describes the location of a cave that served as a hiding place for priests and their vestments, and encloses a map of the Burren on which he has marked locations of fulachta fiadh.               Correspondence between Robinson and Conor McDermott of the Geological Survey, who is working on a drilling project in Kilfenora at the time of writing. McDermott gives some information on caves, and a copy reply from Robinson gives detail on his decision to use different textures on his map to represent limestone, shale and drift. The first letter requests permission to use the boundaries of Robinson's Burren maps, upon which he has added cave and water tracing information.               Correspondence between Michael Moore, Archaeologist within the Department of Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht, later changing to Dúchas, and Tim Robinson. The first letter encloses a photocopy of the identification lists in the Recorded Monuments Register for the Burren (RMR), and explains the background of the RMR as arising from the 1994 National Monuments Act. Copy reply from Robinson encloses a list of the megalithic tombs and other monuments that he wishes to add to his revised Burren map, with a list of queries for Moore. Begins with a letter from Ó Sé commenting on some placenames, specifically Poll an Eidhneáin and Cairn Suí Finn, with some commentary on the local Munster Irish dialect of Clare. Copy reply from Robinson on Rath Bheag, Dabhach Bhrainin, Poll an Eidhneain, and Aille an Daill. Two letters from Ó Sé, one in Irish and one in English answering Robinson's queries, and enclosing a photocopy of a section of Robinson's 1977 map with annotation.
