Included in the descriptions are Ballaí an Díthreabhaigh, Carraig Uí Chaollaigh (Carrigaher more/beg on the OS maps), Léim an Leithe, An Fhuaigh Mhór, Oileán Muirileach/Oileán Beag Chruach na Cara, An Aill Bhuí, An Poll Gorm, Clochar an Fhrancaigh, Spout an Tairbh (a bull-sized square hole on the shore off the westernmost point. Various stories about how it got its name are included). Mulán na bhFeathach, An Geamaire, Mulán an Iascaigh, Lochán Cruach na Cara, Carraig Mánus Mór, An Fhuaigh Leanúnach, An Poll Gorm, Leac Mhadain, An Fhuaigh Bheag, Lochán Beag, Aill na hIomlachta, Sceirde Beag, Aill na mBrougheall, Log na gCadhan, na Foruin, Teampall Mhic Dara, and An Leac Dhearg (sometimes Leic Dheirg). Features described include Creig Dú (Creggduff), Leave Mhaoil, Crompán, Grant's Lifting Stone, Foyle Harbour, Baile Robuck, Cloch na Rón (Roundstone Rock), and Ellistrum Lodge, where De Valera visited upon his release from prison.
