"Draft typescript letter with amendments from Eoghan Ó Tuairisc, Maganey, to S E Allen Figgis, Allen Figgis & Co Ltd., Dawson St., Dublin thanking him for returning ""Trio in D"". In relation to ""Weekend"" he disagrees with him, and feels that he must be allowed to be the ""final arbiter of my own work"". He comments that the Coda is apt to be misunderstood, and that it implies the Ricorse or wheel and that Dermot might escape. The new ending does not allow for any misunderstanding ""Dermot is dead, good and proper"". He comments that he would much prefer the double anchor imprint rather than the Joycean riverrun. He comments that Miss Engel's thesis was a real eye-opener, and that the assumption that he is the only author is ""an intolerable dogma"". He states that he has instructed his literary executors on the matter whatever the outcome, and asks him to consider the matter further."
