Letter from Riobard Mac Góráin, Gael-Linn, 54 Sráid Grafton, Baile Átha Cliath, to Eoghan Ó Tuairisc, thanking him for his letter, and saying that he would be very interested in the theme. He has heard of Shaun Davey but hasn't heard his work, but is assured that if Eoghan is involved in will be good [in Irish].

Letter from Tom Cullivan, University College, Galway, to Eoghan Ó Tuairisc, apologizing for missing him at An Taihdhearc, and that Seán had delivered the scenario to him, which he is very happy with, although it is the first time he has attempted anything of this nature. Asks if he could call over to him in Galway and they could work on the music and that he will work on some of the songs immediately.

Letter from Tom Cullivan, University College, Galway, to Eoghan Ó Tuairisc, enclosing his first pass at the Gauleiter's March, a tune for Mac Artáin and The Song of the Lesbian Maiden. He gives his reasons for crafting the tunes the way he has done. He is also working of a chart of mood and themes and once that is done he will work on a number of other tunes. Asks if he can come down the following weekend to work on the music.
