He comments that he will contact some colleagues in America in relation to other items. He ends by stating that he hopes to visit Ireland sometime in 1954/5 during a trip to Europe.

Letter from G D Pearson, Headmaster of the Eastcliffe Grammar School, The Grove, Gosforth, Newcastle-upon-Tyne to Ciarán Bairéad, saying that he currently engaged in a Scenic-Graphic study of the Aran Islands, and that Dr Wall had suggested that he contact him. He is interested in any information on the customs of the people different from the mainland.

Letter from G D Pearson, The Grove, Gosforth, Newcastle upon Tyne to Ciarán Bairéad thanking him for his letter. He states that he will be arriving at Aran on the 26th Nov. He states that their chat in the Belvedere really helped him focus on the area he wants to study. He asks if he could get people to fill out the enclosed questionnaires, and that he will cover the costs involved.
