              Set of index cards describing some of the local features of the townland of Ardagh, [Ardach]. Included are descriptions of a megalithic tomb, earthworks, rock carvings, Derrywaking Lough, Mass Rock, the estate of P J Kendall, Ardagh House and Lodge, Ardagh Oyster Fishery, and Loch na Fiacaile. Paul Mohr who discovered the rock carvings, Professor Noel Wilkins' book, and the Connery brothers of Becaunín are all credited with providing information.

              Correspondence between Michael Moore, Archaeologist within the Department of Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht, later changing to Dúchas, and Tim Robinson. The first letter encloses a photocopy of the identification lists in the Recorded Monuments Register for the Burren (RMR), and explains the background of the RMR as arising from the 1994 National Monuments Act. Copy reply from Robinson encloses a list of the megalithic tombs and other monuments that he wishes to add to his revised Burren map, with a list of queries for Moore. Subsequent correspondence discusses these, and a souterrain at Ballygarran North in detail. (cMar-Dec 1998) c100pp;
