His brother thanks them for the book, and he is seeking to create a musical piece from ""Amhrán Muighe Seola"". He comments that he has been offered a job teaching English and Irish in France, and that the new Editor of Feasta had been onto him looking for an article. Says he visited Máirtin Ó Direáin, commenting that he was very lonely as it was Christmas, and saying that he wanted to return to Galway [in Irish]."
