              File of correspondence from Lewis T Wright of Mountain Copper Company Ltd. to M M O'Shaughnessy. A handwritten letter from Wright to O'Shaughnessy asks how long it would take to run a survey to calculate the length of railway needed to connect Windy Camp with Iron Mountain. Subsequent telegrams relay travel plans, and the final letter, dated 7 July 1897 names the members of the party Wright has assigned O'Shaughnessy to help with his upcoming work. The letter is to introduce O'Shaughnessy to Fielding when he arrives.

Mr's Hill, Winslow and Wright are all referred to, and the episode is described elsewhere in this archive from their perspective. Subsequent letters discuss the momentum and progress in Balaklala, negotiations with the Mountain Copper Co Ltd.
