              Letter from J [Minto Teeling], University Zoological Department, Trinity College Dublin, replying to his letter in the "Irish Times", about servants in TCD. He states that many of the "skips" are Roman Catholic, and that most of the porters are ex-servicemen. "Moreover there is a special trained type of man needed to deal with the rowdier students when necessary". He goes on to question what has happened with the Galway Chair, claiming his "Board is too decent to penalise anyone on acct. of religion". He ends by commenting that he feels hopeless in relation to science in the country.
