He recounts his trek around Dublin city centre before ending up at Westland Row, and has an interesting conversation with a nun and a young teacher on teaching, and a long discussion on the Manichees who were on Skellig Michael. Returns to Ballinasloe and tells her of a visit to his mother the next day.
