File of typed and manuscript letters and related documents. The letters are from playwright M.J. Molloy to Frank Glynn, with letters also addressed to Professor Michael Leydon, both of Tuam co. Galway. The letters discuss local and rural news, farming and business news, and also literary updates from Molloy, who for instance discusses his plays, the rejection of a play of his by Garry Hynes of Druid Theatre Company, and other literary updates. Also includes the typed text of a speech made by Molloy at the opening of Glynn's Hardware Store, Tuam, Co. Galway, 1980. Also an invitation to Glynn on Tuam Theatre Guild headed paper for the world premiere in Tuam of Molloy's new play, "The Runaways".
