This series relates to Thomas Kilroy's adaptation of Luigi Pirandello's play "Six Characters in Search of an Author", first produced by The Abbey Theatre in 1996, and published by Gallery Press in 2007. It contains a new translation of the play, notes and drafts towards the stage version, some post-production scripts, as well as correspondence and press reviews regarding the stage production. It also includes proofs from Gallery Press.
