Letters of administration for will of John Ormsby (attached), of Lakeland, County Mayo, granted to George Ormsby, nephew of John Ormsby. He died 17 Apr 1838, will proved 3 June 1838. In will he desires to be buried in graveyard at Ballinamore, leaves his goods and property to his nephews and nieces George Ormsby, Thomas and Betsy of Knockmore, Anthony Ormsby, youngest son of his brother Peter, Mary Phibbs of Sligo, daughter of his sister Sally, Owen Phibbs, lieutenant 86th Regiment, Peter Ruttledge Phibbs of Sligo. No witnesses. William Semple of Turlough made sworn declaration of John Ormsby's handwriting. Date of will 15 June 1836.
