Attached is a letter from Patrick McClean sent to John Hume, M.P., Derry City, outlining how McClean is teaching in the South Tyrone area and was interned under the Special Powers Act between Dec 1956 and Sep 1960. McClean is seeking help in claiming for loss of wages during the period of internment, full pension rights upon retirement and other such issues.
