Envelope addressed to Sir Peter Freyer, 27 Harley St, inscribed in pencil 'Murphy - re hydrophobia case' and containing the following letter from T[homas] J[ohn] Carey Evans, 10 Downing St, Whitehall, London SW, to Sir Peter Freyer, returning his article on hydrophobia, which he showed to his wife and Mrs Lloyd George. He apologises for leaving 'so hurriedly this afternoon' but he had an appointment with his wife (2 July 1919).Appendix No V to the Army Medical Department Report of 1884, the 'Case of Lieutenant T____, 10th Bengal Cavalry, aged 24 years, who died at Mussoorie on the 28th September 1885 from Hydrophobia' by Peter Freyer, Civil Surgeon, Mussoorie.
