Letter from the Principal Clerk, Estate Duty Office, Somerset House, London WC2, to Messrs A & J Robinson, 119 Stephen's Green W Dublin in reply to his letter regarding estate duty. He states that the £6000 secured by a mortgage on the Lynch estate was accounted as part of the estates of Arthur Ussher to Mary Ussher and that there is no outstanding claim for duty under their wills in relation to this mortgage. Includes typed copies of the wills and probates of Arthur and Mary Ussher and that there is no outstanding claim for duty under their wills in relation to the mortgage. Includes typed copies of the wills and probates of Arthur and Mary Ussher which includes the names of companies in which they held stocks and shares and the date probate was registered with them. Arthur Ussher, Woodhurst, Crawley, Sussex, died 1 May 1898, his will was dated 24 July 1907 and he left all his property to his wife. Mary Ussher died on 14 May 1909 and she left her property to members of the Forster, Reeves and Ussher families and to servants. Her 'residuary trust estate; was left to Richard Ussher, only son of Edward Ussher deceased and his wife Mary Selina. Also value of the estate by the Inland Revenue and the rate of estate pay.
