Letter to Father Hayes from T.S. McElligott, Leixlip, inspired by a speech from the Archbishop of Cardiff. The author discusses what sees as the problems facing Ireland ('the spiritual problem, the moral problem & the problem of the "emancipated woman" & above all the reckless & shameless drinking by our young girls.') He states that Muintir na Tíre must appeal to the mothers of Ireland to 'save the Irish race', and that Father Hayes has a historic opportunity to appeal to the Archbishops of Cardiff and Liverpool and the Bishop of Kilkenny on Sunday night in the Dublin City Hall.
