Letter to Canon Hayes from Patrick Duncan, Tubbercurry, County Sligo, appealing on behalf of 56 workers, the majority of whom were sacked from Lissamore Estate, County Sligo following a dispute between the estate solicitor and estate manager Lady Gabrielle Gore-Booth, who was sacked along with the workers and whose family had owned the estate since the 1830s (see P134/12/1/1/1/173). Duncan asks for Muintir na Tíre's support for a 'just settlement' for the workers and their families.
