Copy of a letter from Bishop Patrick Collier of Ossory sent to Father Hayes on 5 October 1941 and read at the initial meeting of Muintir na Tíre in Kilkenny on 12 October 1941. In the letter, Bishop Collier grants Muintir na Tíre his blessing and approval, and writes that 'Anything your Organization can do to further the Agricultural and rural interests of the country will always have my earnest support and approval.'
