Scope and content

Letter sent to Canon Hayes from writer Pamela Hinkson, Monkstown, Dublin. Hinkson notes that 'I long to see Muintir na Tíre on its own ground and feel more and more that everything we need is held in that.' She also notes that despite being overworked from writing she still wishes to speak on behalf of the movement, and that her mother (novelist/poet Katherine Tynan) would have found Muintir na Tíre 'her joy'.
