Christmas letter to Canon Hayes from Paddy Moran, Toronto, Ontario, updating Canon Hayes on how he and his wife Máire are getting along well in Canada and his disappointment that more young Irish are not moving to Canada. Moran notes his positive impression of the Credit Union movement in Ontario ('It is definitely one of the best forms of Christian social action') and of Archbishop of Toronto James McGuigan. He also notes how the Catholic Social Life Conference there had the same sort of atmosphere as Rural Week in Ireland.
