He notes that he was posted to Granard to take the place of Father Mark Mimnagh the last September, that the Muintir na Tíre hall in the parish erected by Father Mimnagh and his members is about to be repossessed by creditors as £1,700 of the over £2,000 in building costs are still owed, and that the local bishop knows nothing about it as of yet. He asks Canon Hayes for help toward a solution without having to inform the bishop.
