Lord Tom Bingham of Cornwall, Lord Chief Justice of England, London, to Boyle, thanking him for his letter of 22 October and for the copy of Boyle's 'Magnum Opus', which Bingham describes as "a most wonderfully comprehensive survey on this very interesting topic . . ." Attached is a photograph of Kevin Boyle with, according to note on reverse of image written by Joan Boyle, Lord Chief Justice Tom Bingham and his wife Elizabeth Bingham at the honorary reception to mark degree conferred on Lord Bingham by University of Essex.
