"Letter from Liam O Coinín, Átha Luain, to An tAthair Mhic an Mheidh, Ballyhaunis, County Mayo. He applauds the work of the people in Dublin and says that two papers will help matters. He says that ""An Cearnóg has a good circulation around Castlebar, but not elsewhere, and that they should target scholars and teachers. He says that the paper needs to be re-invigorated and recommends something similar to what has happened with ""An Stoc"". He ends by asking him to make a slight change to his article if possible [in Irish]."
