Letter from Laurence Storey, Aughrim, land agent to G.R. Wade, thanking him for his letter but feeling that it is better not to make the matter public after the last time, when he had to have people minding him. He feels if it were so again that there would be a lot of unpleasant talk, which would only make the situation more tense. He feels safe as long as there is no law pending. He states that the situation on the Hill may get worse, with a large bill for drainage coming to him, but he feels that they should let matters take their course "... but taking everything into acct better let the spark die out quietly". He states that it is important to show people that they are not afraid.
