Letter from Laurence Storey, Aughrim, land agent to G.R. Wade, stating that he had received a threatening letter that morning. He asks him to keep this quiet, as he is sure that he is alright once he does not go out at night, calling it "a bottle of smoke". He states that he has not had law with anyone and feels safe enough. He states that Pat Minton had been in the office but had not said anything to him. He says that he still has not had an opportunity for the hay, but hopes to get a good day soon. He ends by saying that the letter was posted in Ballinasloe.
