Letter to Father Hayes from Joseph Walsh, Archbishop of Tuam, regretfully turning down an invitation to give the opening address at Muintir na Tíre's Rural Week in Roscrea based on doctor's orders to reduce his workload. Written on the back of the letter is a handwritten letter from Gerard Grisewood hoping that Father Hayes' speech at Waterford inspired the people there, and that Tom Allan[sp?] called ('He had tea with us, I think his terms are reasonable).
