Letter to Canon Hayes from Joseph M. Murphy, Managing Director, Tayto Ltd., in response to Canon Hayes' letter of the previous day inquiring about opening a factory in rural Ireland. Murphy notes that Tayto receives numerous appeals from different parts of the country, and is seeking a government grant to open such a factory, but must meet qualification for said grant before doing so. Murphy states his respect for Muintir na Tíre, and writes that he would like to travel to Bansha to meet Canon Hayes and perhaps start industry there at a later date. Murphy states he is travelling to the United States in late September to inspect machinery and study manufacturing technique, and so would like to visit Bansha before then.
