Letter from John Franks, Church Property & Collection Section of the Irish Land Commission, stating that the lands John Wilson Lynch held at Aughinish were in the Electoral Division of Duras in Gort Union, and that rates were payable out of his rent. Copy reply by John Wilson Lynch states that the lands of Aughinish have been in Ballyvaughan Union for some time, and asks that the receipts from them would be acceptable to the Commission also.
