Letter from John Brady in which he writes that he will carry out his suggestion but is afraid that he might endanger the tenants and their houses. He has had a letter from Father Cleary. He writes of the damage and intimidation to tenants who would join the 'no rent business' and that Mrs. Murphy of Belvoir had been fired at. Gleeson has paid £16. 'The terror about the district never was so high'. Encloses letter from Father D Cleary PP, O'Callaghan's Mills, to John Brady, JP, Limerick, asking him to meet the tenants to discuss an abatement in the half year's rent and copy of J Brady's reply on the back.
