Letter from James McMahon, 3 St. Patrick's Terrace, Rathgar, to Thomas O'Conor Donelan, saying that he cannot tell him the particulars of the finding of Bessy as requested, and suggests that he demand the information from Dr. Lynch. He states that she was not starved, and that the staff were anxious, but that they did not treat him well. He states that Dr. Lynch would not see him for three days, and that Bessy had been found in County Meath, 17 miles from Dublin, and that the G Division in Dublin Castle ascertained her identity. He suggests that he himself to visit Dublin soon.
