He has been asked by Government to see if Freyer would change the dates of his leave so that he could attend the International Medical and Surgical Congress in Rome as the Indian representative. He writes that he has 'worked hard to accomplish' this, with the object of removing a glaring scandal from the NWP's medical department, as much as 'doing what I could for a staunch friend'.
