Scope and content
Letter from Henry Stuart, Grange, Alresford, to Sir William Homan, Dromana, Lismore, stating that as part of a business transaction with Mr Barron, he plans to remit to him £4000 out of his Irish rents to him. He asks that the rents be placed in a bank at either Youghal or Waterford for the moment until either he or Mr Peacock sends further instruction. He goes on to sympathise with Sir William on his "disappointments", and once the transactions are completed he is to draw £50 English from Coutes. He invites him and his sister to visit him in England, he says that his sister must have heard of the circumstances of the death of their brother William from Lady Lonsdale.
