Letter from Father Cleary, O'Callaghan Mills, thanking John Wilson Lynch for his Christmas donation. He writes of Mrs. Murphy's improvement, his denouncement of the outrage and his regret that John Wilson Lynch and the tenants have not met in a more friendly spirit 'they wish that you should fall into line with all the surrounding landlords'. He has facilitated agreements between some landlords and tenants for a 15% reduction. He would like to mediate between John Brady and the Belvoir tenants but the tenants will not negotiate unless allowed a reduction.
