Letter from Edward T Stapleton, solicitor, to John Wilson Lynch, acknowledging receipt of his letter relating to O'Halloran. They will soon be able to mark judgements in cases, which are not defended or paid. He has not heard anything from the two tenants Patrick Millane and Margaret Cullinane. His family have not heard anything from Marco [Mark Wilson Lynch]. He asks him to convey thanks to Mrs. Lynch for the pleasant time he spent at Renmore and if she would like him to post Barrington's "Memoires" to her. Ellen writes cheerily from abroad and he and Eddie send kind remembrances to all his family. In a postscript he writes 'The G.O.M. seems likely to be up a tree'.
